The Chalk Line RVD Invasion 1997 Retro Shorts pay tribute to the colorful airbrushed entrance tights Rob Van Dam wore during his illustrious wrestling career. RVD -- one of the greatest of the ECW -- is remembered for The Invasion, a storyline where stables from the ECW (then the Alliance) and WWF competed to see which promotion would come out on top.
Rob Van Dam has had a storied career in wrestling, gaining mainstream popularity in ECW during the 1990s, where he won the ECW World Tag Team Championship twice. In 1998, he defeated Bam Bam Bigelow to take the ECW Television Championship, which he held for 700 days. In 2014, WWE named RVD the greatest star in ECW history.
