Kamagata Dwarf Japanese Maple - Live Plant - (2.5 QT)

Kamagata Dwarf Japanese Maple acer palmatum 'kamagata' An unbelievable introduction, this dwarf looks exactly like a miniature version of a large Japanese maple, beautiful fall colors, excellent for bonsai and containers or as a rock garden accent. Kamagata is a very nice delicate looking yet sturdy dwarf. The bright green leaves are small and deeply palmate which curve downward at the lobes. In spring the lime green leaves have a reddish tint to them which later turns to a bright, light green in summer. Fall colors are brilliant yellow and orange finally turing to red.. Kamagata forms a small, rounded tree to 5-6 feet high. Slow growing at first and then tends to put out moderate growth after a few years. Sun/ part shade. Deciduous tree.
